What are macros ~ macros are made up of proteins, fats and carbohydrates

Protein ~ protein Is used to build and repair tissues, as well as make enzymes and hormones that help regulate metabolism, growth and can be an energy source. For protein you should be having lb per body weight ie 130lb person should have 130 grams.

Protein is found in variety of food for example chicken, mince, bacon and eggs

Carbohydrates ~ carbs is actually an energy source. You get different kind of carbs simple carbs which is made up of glucose, fructose and galactose. Simple carbs are things like jam, sweets, fruit and veg.  The other one is complex carbs which is made of 3 or more sugars connected, they also contain fibre as well as vitamins and minerals.  Food that’s high in complex carbohydrates are rice, pasta bread and beans.

Fat ~ fat is the most calorie dense of the macros, one of fats biggest roles is energy storage. Not only do you loose fat in a deficit, you also burn fat doing day to day things.

Fat is naturally found in meat, fish, dairy and nuts.
